Mr. Sriram Kalyanaraman is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with over 36 years of leadership experience across private sector banks, housing finance, credit bureaus, and apex regulatory institutions. He has held senior positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, Equifax India, and KBZ Bank (Myanmar), and served as Managing Director & CEO of the National Housing Bank (NHB), the RBI-regulated apex body for Housing Finance Companies in India.

During his tenure as MD & CEO of NHB, Mr. Kalyanaraman led a comprehensive institutional transformation — growing the refinance book to ₹57,700 Crore, increasing institutional reserves by 48%, and reducing Net NPAs by 98%, making NHB the first NIL Net NPA institution of its kind in India. He was also a Member of the RBI High-Level Task Force on Public Credit Registry and the RERA Central Advisory Council, contributing to landmark national-level policy frameworks. His recognition with the Digital India Award for digitising the PMAY housing subsidy scheme further underscores his commitment to governance-led innovation.

Mr. Kalyanaraman brings to the Board expertise in NBFC regulatory compliance, Retail and SME lending Governance, Asset Quality oversight, and Capital Management. Building mortgage and credit bureau businesses from inception across multiple institutions, he possesses a rare combination of operational depth and board-level strategic insight. His familiarity with RBI’s supervisory expectations, combined with his experience in digital transformation and fintech advisory, positions him as a valuable independent opinion in guiding the Company’s business growth.
